What I've always loved most about writing is the opportunity to connect with people. Asking good questions, finding the interesting details, and turning a conversation or an idea into something people actually want to read.

The last several years, I tried a new venture as a co-owner of GRND SQRL, a restaurant in Twentynine Palms, California, I've had the opportunity to bring my editorial background into an entirely different creative space.
From developing the brand's identity and personality to creating marketing content, shaping communications, and connecting consistently with the local community, I've experienced firsthand what it takes to build something people recognize and want to be part of.
It's given me a unique perspective on writing and brand storytelling. I've been both the person creating the content and the business owner relying on it to connect with an audience.
That combination of editorial experience, creative thinking, education, and entrepreneurship continues to shape the way I approach copywriting, content strategy, and communication. I am truly the creative, curious and passionate sum of all these parts.
